Seeking out new and unfamiliar support during challenging times can be difficult. Let me meet you wherever you may be on your journey. Building trust and rapport are my top priority when establishing a therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where every individual feels heard, supported, and empowered to intentionally embrace their strengths, vulnerabilities, and resilience. I am passionate about working through concerns related to grief and loss, chronic and terminal illness, trauma, anxiety, and all associated stressors through a trauma-informed, strength-based lens. My goal is to work with you in achieving your goals while also enhancing your capacity for introspection, self-reflection, and self-awareness. Whether you are seeking out support to work through current or historical thoughts, feelings, or experiences, I'm ready to meet you where you're at. If you think I may be a good fit to help you meet your needs, I encourage you to reach out. E-mail is typically the quickest mode of communication.

I work with individuals to address sexual health related issues that may be getting in the way of a healthy and satisfying sex life. I help couples and individuals to improve overall sexual health and connectedness, while also working to improve overall relationship satisfaction and communication. Issues may include: sexual pain, desire discrepancies, orgasm problems, discomfort with your body image, sexual boredom, etc. I recognize that change can be difficult and seek to provide the support you need to achieve your goals by listening to you, helping to identify the outcome you desire, and motivating you to reach your goals. My specialties include working with individuals and couples. I have specialized training in Sex Therapy and Sexuality Education. I have completed Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level I training. I am Beginning Level III Somatic Experiencing (SE) trained and incorporate these practices into my work, especially in treating traumatic sexual experiences. The most important part of my job is to always ensure my clients feel welcome and supported by the therapeutic relationship. Helping others and advocating for those that struggle to find their inner voice has always been a passion of mine. I know seeking help is never easy, but you're in the right place and there has never been a better time than now!

My ideal client is coming to counseling to improve their quality of life. They may be dealing with chronic stress, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, a more personal concern, or simply needing support in their day-to-day work, school, and relationship life. The client is motivated for change in their life and is willing to try new things. The client is open to working collaboratively with me to develop the most effective plan of action for them. The client understands that therapy is a process that may involve some roadblocks to be navigated, but that the therapeutic relationship will be one of safety and support. I work primarily from an integrated psychodynamic lens, meaning I like to understand the client's relational patterns and attachment style, their coping strategies, their development, and as much of their story as they are comfortable sharing. I am then able to work with them to develop an effective intervention strategy. I am Gottman Level One trained and this approach is used in my work with couples. I look forward to working collaboratively to make the changes you are seeking in your life!

I really love helping people learn to practice new ways of thinking and being in the world and in their relationships. Our need to stay busy in our minds and in our bodies in order to escape difficult feelings creates depression and anxiety and keeps us from healing. I help people slow down and learn how to make a genuine connection to their inner world and begin a journey of healing and hope. I am a relational therapist. I can help you strengthen and heal your relationships with the people and things that matter most to you..spouses, partners, friends, kids, food, your body etc. The most important relationship we will work on is the one you have with YOU. As your therapist I will not come with answers for you, but instead will share my wisdom, warmth, and compassion in order to provide a safe space for you to grieve, heal, self reflect and challenge yourself. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy and honor the courage it takes to be ready for change.
